Inspiration: Pink Pram Baby Shower

Hello! I had the privileged of hosting a baby shower for my beautiful German friend Frauke. Her little girl will be here in the next week and it is so exciting to go through the whole process...! I used my Pink Pram Baby Shower Kit (available in my online store for R200 - customised invitation included!). It all came together so nicely and it was so much fun planning everything.

Hello! I'm so excited to share this special little jewel with you! Lafenis Deli + Bake Shop
situated in the Lifestyle Shed, Karoo Kafee, Lynnwood Road, Pretoria. Lafenis is the passion of owner & chef Margaux Pieterse. This is the only place to buy the fabulous breads of the Bread Gypsy (email Margaux at gesels@lafenisdeli.co.za to place your order so that you are not disappointed!). She also stocks amazing hand-made cheeses, cold meats and yummy yummy jams and relishes. I had a sandwich with hummus, delicious roasted veggies, cheese and a drizzle of balsamic reduction. Also, I just had to try her special organic ice cream. The 'rocky road ice cream' was just fabulous and beautifully plated. Lafenis also sells the coffee that they serve.

If you feel like escaping the chaos of city life, make sure to visit Lafenis. They also take bookings for small birthdays, baby showers etc.

Out & About: DOUBLESHOT coffee & tea

Hello! We LOVE coffee.. okay maybe we are a bit fanatical. A few weekends ago on our way to visit the NeighbourGoods Market in Braamfontein, Johannesburg we accidentally found DOUBLESHOT as we were looking for parking. Off course we got side tracked, after all coffee is more important than breakfast. We were not disappointed, the coffee reminded me of Mammoth in London and being in nearly downtown Jozi that is being rejuvenated and uplifted made the experience just so worth while. DOUBLESHOT is rustic and authentic and I loved everything about it. Yesterday, again on our way to the market for breakfast we organised with friends to meet us there. Just to DOUBLE-check ;-), yes, yes the coffee is great... go by when you are in the area! Enjoy. Love Liezel

Feature: NEW Princess Protea Wedding Stationary

Hello! I was asked to design the wedding stationary for a couple that is getting married in Austria later this year. As they are currently living here in sunny SA, they wanted to make our beloved protea part of the design.
I came up with some options for them and will share their one a bit later in the year. However, I liked this one so much that I finished the set. It features two princess proteas in bold orange and grey. It was printed on beautiful ivory card stock with an elegant shimmer. Here is the end result ... .
